Madrid Pride 2026 Party Guide (MADO): Where to Go Out Every Night
Night-by-night calendar from June 25 to July 5 — venues, times, and best plans
- June 25 – July 5, 2026
Madrid is gearing up for one of Europe’s biggest Pride celebrations. From June 25 to July 5, 2026, the city becomes the global LGBTIQ+ epicentre for eleven days of marches, open-air stages, a high-heels race, concerts, drag shows, and — of course — the best parties of the year.
Whether it’s your first time, you’ve been coming for a decade, or you simply want to know exactly what to do each night without missing anything important, this guide is for you. Let’s break it down.
What Is MADO 2026 and When Does It Take Place?
MADO stands for Madrid Orgullo (Madrid Pride), and under that umbrella sits the entire official programme of Madrid’s Pride: activist events, music stages, cultural happenings, and — running alongside all of that — a nocturnal explosion that takes over Chueca, Gran Vía, Lavapiés, and half the city.
Official MADO 2026 Dates: June 25 – July 5, 2026
A lot happens across those eleven days, but there are some key dates worth marking in your calendar:
- Wednesday, July 1 — Opening Ceremony (Pregón) at Plaza de Pedro Zerolo, hosted by La Plexy. The official stage programme kicks off.
- Thursday, July 2 — High-Heels Race on Calle Pelayo (hosted by Chumina Power), one of Pride’s most photographed events.
- Friday, July 3 — Madrid Summit (international LGBTQIA+ human rights conference) and the start of the big weekend.
- Saturday, July 4 — National Pride March: the main event. The march sets off from Atocha and ends at Colón. The largest LGBTIQ+ mobilisation in Europe.
- Sunday, July 5 — Official closing ceremony of MADO ’26.
The Biggest MADO 2026 Parties in Europe de Europa
During MADO, Madrid concentrates a density of LGBTIQ+ parties that has no equal in Spain. Here are the must-dos, with confirmed dates and venues (and, where details are still pending, a pointer to where you can check for updates):
YASS! PARTY POP, HITS Y HOUSE
A special Pride edition running July 1–4 at Lula Club, with two rooms: pop and house. Four consecutive nights from the LGBTIQ+ party that fills Sala BUT every Friday, now relocated to the heart of Gran Vía for MADO. Accessible pop, anthems you’ll sing with your besties, an inclusive and label-free vibe.

TANGA! PARTY: Madrid's Most Iconic Monthly Party
A classic among classics — TANGA! puts on three nights at Medias Puri and one at LAB The Club:
- July 3 at Medias Puri with J KBello (SOLD OUT)
- July 4 at Medias Puri with Tony Grox and Lucy Calis, winners of Benidorm Fest 2026
- July 4 at LAB The Club also with Tony Grox and Lucy Calis (yes, they’re doing a double)
- July 5 at Medias Puri with Loles León
TANGA! is all about theatrics, drag, chaos-pop energy, and a guaranteed great atmosphere. Medias Puri’s abandoned-theatre aesthetic makes the night an experience in itself.
Petardíssimo The Hot New Italian-Inspired Afternoon Party
Madrid’s trendiest new tardeo (afternoon party) isn’t going to sit this one out. Inspired by a wild Italian restaurant, it’s coming straight to Madrid’s Gran Vía for Pride. For those who want to join the party without ending up on the dancefloor at 7am, Petardíssimo sets up its afternoon event July 2–5 at Lula Club, with a different mamma each day:
- Thursday 2 — With Laca Udilla
- Friday 3 — With Margarita Kalifata
- Saturday 4 — With Vania Vainilla
- Sunday 5 — With Hornella Góngora
Four top names from Madrid’s drag scene, four different afternoons, same venue. The perfect plan for an early start — or for surviving the weekend without wrecking yourself on a dancefloor until 6am. And right in the centre, too — what more could you ask for?
Loco Bongo (Special Nighttime Edition)
Loco Bongo, usually known for its wild afternoon parties, is stepping up for Pride with a special nighttime edition: Friday, July 3 — a Pride night-format, for the first time ever. Edgier challenges, no mobile phones allowed, and racier content. If you know the brand, you already know what you’re in for; if not, get ready for something between cabaret, chaos, and collective choreography.

Other Venues Worth Having on Your Radar
Beyond the big brands, there’s a huge ecosystem of bars and clubs programming non-stop during MADO. La Lulú Showbar (Chueca) hosts drag shows all week. Boombería takes over the weekend with its maximalist pop. D’Mystic, 12 Club, and the venues along Hortaleza/Gravina fill the gaps between the big nights. And the afternoon bars around Plaza de Pedro Zerolo, Plaza de Chueca, and Calle Augusto Figueroa are a party in their own right from five in the afternoon.
Madrid Pride 2026 — Night-by-Night Calendar
If you like planning day by day, here’s the quick rundown. Venues and times may shift, so always check before heading out:
Wednesday, July 1
Opening Ceremony at Plaza de Pedro Zerolo (La Plexy opens the stage). Official stages in the plazas get underway. YASS! Party opens its special four-night edition at Lula Club.
Thursday, July 2
High-Heels Race on Calle Pelayo (afternoon). In the evening: second night of YASS!, Petardíssimo (afternoon party) with Laca Udilla, and official stages running until late.
Friday, July 3
The big night for clubbers. Madrid Summit in the morning. Afternoon: Petardíssimo with Margarita Kalifata. Evening: WE Pride underway, YASS! at Lula Club, TANGA! Party at Medias Puri (J KBello), Loco Bongo in its special nighttime edition, and every Chueca venue at full capacity.
Saturday, July 4
The National Pride March sets off from Atocha in the afternoon and reaches Colón at the end of the evening. At night, everything in Madrid is open: WE Pride at its peak, TANGA! double-bill (Medias Puri + LAB The Club with Tony Grox and Lucy Calis), the final night of YASS! at Lula Club, Petardíssimo with Vania Vainilla, and all official stages with their headline acts.
Sunday, July 5
Closing day and recovery. Low-key plans win: afternoon session at Plaza de Pedro Zerolo, Petardíssimo with Hornella Góngora, the final TANGA! Party night at Medias Puri (with Loles León), and — running in parallel — the official MADO ’26 closing events.
Practical Info for Surviving MADO
Transport. Madrid Metro reinforces services and extends hours until 2:30am on the big days (march, weekends). Stations like Chueca, Gran Vía, and Sol may temporarily close due to capacity: alternatives are Tribunal, Sevilla, and Banco de España. Walking through the centre is usually faster than taking the metro during Pride.
Accommodation. If you haven’t booked yet, do it now. Central hotels and Airbnbs in Chueca and Malasaña sell out months in advance, and prices spike dramatically between July 3–5. More affordable alternatives: Embajadores, Lavapiés, La Latina, Tirso de Molina — all within 15 minutes’ walk of the party epicentre.
Hydration, sun protection, comfortable shoes. It sounds obvious, but MADO takes place in peak Madrid July heat — 35°C. Always carry water, wear sunscreen and a cap, and choose shoes you can handle for 12 hours straight (leave the heels for the nighttime session, unless you’re in the race).
Dress codes. Madrid isn’t Berlin — venues are pretty relaxed about clothing. WE Pride at Fabrik has themed parties with dress codes (fetish, samba, etc.) announced in advance. The rest — YASS!, Tanga, Petardíssimo, Loco Bongo — essentially say: «come however you like, just be comfortable and look great.»
If you've only got one night free — make it YASS!
